In Slide Master view, in the thumbnail pane on the left, click the slide layout(s) where you want to add a picture watermark. Right-click the slide and click Format Background. In the Format Background pane on the right, click Picture or Texture Fill, and under Insert picture from, click an option.
To change the alignment of your watermark text, click and hold the rotation handle at the top of the text box while you move your mouse left or right. Select the text in the text box. Choose a light font fill color, and then make any other changes that you want to the font and style.
Right-click the slide and click Format Background. In the Format Background pane on the right, click Picture or Texture Fill, and under Insert picture from, click an option. In the Format Background pane, slide the Transparency bar to the right to set the transparency percentage.
To make an image transparent in Word, use these steps: Launch Word on your desktop. From the Ribbon, select Insert Picture and choose the location of the image you want to use. Ensure the Picture Format tab is selected. In addition, the Format Picture tab is where to click the down-arrow of the Transparency button.
Add the watermark On the Insert tab, in the Text group, click WordArt, and then click the text style that you want to use for your watermark. Select the watermark, and then drag it to the position that you want. Select the text inside the watermark, and then type the text that you want to use.

Then, customize the watermark by setting the font, layout, size, colors, and orientation. If you dont see the watermark, click View Print Layout.
