here is a question i get quite a bit how do i remove all bold formatting in an entire word document the quickest way is to use the advanced find and replace feature lets take a look at this document notice that there are several words with the bold format now this could happen for a number of reasons perhaps i thought at the time i wanted these words in bold or this is actually common when you copy and paste text from another source whether its from another document or something online now this is a long document and removing the bold formatting one word at a time would take way too much time so im going to use the advanced find and replace and this will go very quickly so lets walk through the steps on the home tab in the editing group im going to click the down arrow next to find and choose advanced find then im going to go down to the lower left hand corner and click on format and font and under the font style i want to choose bold im looking for bold formatting click ok and
