hello this is Jesse the community manager here at bull grid and Im here today to answer a question from Craig Craig asks how do I move an image further down the page I have a column with an image above another one and I want the bottom one move further down so great question Craig Im going to go ahead and try and recreate your situation here so I can show you so this is a block that I found here in the bull grid block library up here and in order to kind of recreate your situation Im just going to take this picture of Henrietta and clone it so that I end up with these two images one right on top of the other so when you do that youll see that each one has this little orange pop-up menu the Edit content menu that shows up so if you click on that and go to the advanced control youll be able to control all the various aspects of this section of content so what Im going to do is go to the section option down here the margin and Im just going to add probably about 20 pixels of margin

In web development and design, the margin of an element represents the outside space of the element itself, while the padding represents the inner space surrounding the element. Its important to understand how different components, such as padding and margins, come together to separate text and graphics.

Margin is the space between the border and the next element of your design. Think of the space outside the border and between it and the other elements. This is all the margin. Margin goes around all four sides of the content and you can target and change the margin for each side.
Border - The perimeter of the box. Borders can be invisible or they could be a thick colored line like the green one pictured above. Margin - The outer space (or lack of space) surrounding the box.
The top and bottom margins of blocks are sometimes combined (collapsed) into a single margin whose size is the largest of the individual margins (or just one of them, if they are equal), a behavior known as margin collapsing. Note that the margins of floating and absolutely positioned elements never collapse.
Top and bottom margins of elements are sometimes collapsed into a single margin that is equal to the largest of the two margins. This does not happen on left and right margins!
Only one type of margin can collapse: Vertical (top and bottom). Margin collapse never applies to horizontal (left and right) margins.
In CSS, adjacent margins can sometimes overlap. This is known as margin collapse, and it has a reputation for being quite dastardly. This is an interactive element! Instead of sitting 48px apart, their 24px margins merge together, occupying the same space!
To prevent margin collapsing between siblings, add display: inline-block; to one of the siblings (one is enough though you can add it to both). Save this answer.
