To actually use a Blueprint weapon, go to the class loadout and then the gunsmith. Find the weapon you have a Blueprint for and in the Armory option right next to the weapons name, you can select a Blueprint to use. This will activate the Blueprint and allow you to use the weapon on the battlefield.
