Finding the present owner of a property or home, if it is not you, can be done through the County Auditors website using their property search tool. Note that you can search using the address, owners name (if you know who owns it), or parcel ID.
Document Access Historical Records Search. To search for Historical documents, go to Historical Records Search. Tax Records Search. To search for Tax documents, go to Tax Records Search. SLABS Records Search. To search for SLABS documents, go to SLABS Records Search.
You can go to the clerk of the courts office to look at the chain of title. Some clerks of court have the records online, while others you will have to visit in person.
