On a per-call basis, you cant beat *67 at hiding your number. This works for all smartphones and landlines. To use it, open your phones keypad and dial * 6 7, followed by the number youre trying to call. Thats it!
How Does *67 Work? Star 67 is a free process that hides your number when you make an outgoing phone call. All you need to do is dial star 67 before typing in someones phone number. On their caller ID, it shows up as private or blocked, so your number stays secure, and they cant call you back.
*67 does not work when you call toll-free numbers or emergency numbers. While using *67 works on smartphones, it must be entered each time you dial a number. Most cellular carriers offer a way to block your number on all outgoing calls using the Android or iOS device settings.
