You can customize the header image overlay opacity by going to the Custmoizer Colors Header and edit the options under Overlay. Good luck! That did it!
1) Make sure that you are in Print Layout view - the header and footer arent visible in any of the other views. 2) Move the mouse pointer to the top of a page. The mouse pointer should change to a double box with up- and down-pointing arrows. Double-click to show the white space at the top and bottom of the page.
Double-click on the header and hit the down arrow. If there are extra lines in the header, below the page number, delete them. Make sure there isnt extra space between your text and the top of the page.
Under Header or Footer, on the pop-up menu, select (none). Go to Insert Header Footer. On the top right side of the document, select Options Remove Headers Footers.

A header image follows a 4:1 aspect ratio, which means that it should be four times as wide as it is tall. For example, if the header image is 400 pixels wide, it should be 100 pixels tall. The best size for a header image is 1600x400 pixels.
The height generally for a home page header is around 600 pixels high. For a content page header, this might be slightly smaller at around 300 pixels. If a users browser is 1200 pixels wide and youve set your page header to 600 pixels high, your header will be displayed in a 1200x600 pixel area.
On the View tab, select the Print Layout document view. Double click the header area on the page 1 of the document to open the Header Footer Tools design tab. In the Options group, select the check box for Different First Page. Close the header/footer design tab.
