In this video you are going to learn how to remove comments in Word and you are also going to learn how to keep the comments but only hide them. If you want to remove only a single comment, click on the comment you want to delete, go to the Review tab and in the section Comments click on delete. If you have multiple comments and you want to remove all comments at once, click on the dropdown arrow under the delete button and then click on Delete all comments in Document. If you dont want to delete the comments but rather hide them, then go to the section called Tracking and in the dropdown menu choose Original. The most common way to comment out a block of code in Python is using the # character. Any line of code starting with # in Python is treated as a comment and gets ignored by the compiler.
To comment a block: Select the required block of code. Press Ctrl + Shift + / The beginning (/*) and ending (*/) characters will be added in the appropriate places in order to mark the selected block as a comment.
It is often necessary to comment out temporarily a region of TeX or LaTeX code. This can be done with the commands C-c ; and C-c % . C-c ; will comment out all lines in the current region, while C-c % will comment out the current paragraph.
To add or remove a line comment, do one of the following: From the main menu, select Code | Comment with Line Comment. Press Ctrl+/ .
Need to comment out multiple lines that are not together? You can of course keep on pressing Ctrl+/ when you are on the desired lines.
The leading characters // are added to the beginning of each line when commenting one or more lines of code. You can also block comment multiple lines of code using the characters /* */ .
