docHub Open the PDF in docHub. Press the Comment button (on the right-hand side). Press the Add stamp button in the toolbar. docHub. Select the checkmark. Fill in the Identity Setup dialog box (if necessary). Click your mouse cursor on the location you want to add the check mark.

Sanitize your documents. Choose Tools Redact. Click Sanitize Document in the top toolbar. Choose to selectively remove hidden information or remove all by clicking OK. Choose Save As and save the file with a different name to avoid overwriting the original.
Simply open the PDF in the Redact PDF tool, mark text or entire pages you want to black out, and once done click on Redact All. Xodo ensures the redacted content remains permanently removed, making it a reliable tool for sensitive data removal in PDFs.
To protect your information, learn how to redact in Preview. Open your PDF in Preview. Click the Markup icon on the top right. Click the Redact button on the top left. Read the reminder in the dialog box, save a copy of your PDF, and click OK. Select your text to have it automatically redacted.
If you have access to the original file, removing redactions in a PDF is easy. Open Acrobat Pro and select the PDF file. Click on the Edit tab at the top of the screen. Select Redact Text Images. Once you remove the redactions, the colored bars will go away, revealing the information underneath.
Redaction can be done manually by blacking out or whiting out sensitive information on a physical document or by editing electronic documents using software tools that allow users to obscure selected information.
How to add passwords and permissions to PDF files: Open a file in Acrobat and choose Tools Protect. Select whether you want to restrict editing with a password or encrypt the file with a certificate or password. Set password or security method as desired. Click OK and then click Save.
Use Xodo to securely black out text in PDF on your device locally without having to upload the file to external servers. Simply open the PDF in the Redact PDF tool, mark text or entire pages you want to black out, and once done click on Redact All.
To fill the PDF form with your desired color, from the Quick actions toolbar, select the Color icon and then select a color. By default, the signature color is black. To retain the default color of the signature, make sure the Keep signatures black option is unchecked.
