here im just taking the tape off now that um now that the binding is dried i use remember i use the acetone to melt the binding to the wood and it usually dries within about a half hour or so its been a couple days though so im finally taking the tape off and scraping the top of the binding flush ah [Music] so youll see here theres some little cracks or crevices between the wood and the binding that didnt fill and thats always that always happens when the binding pulls away or doesnt stick quite right um so you got that little space in there especially in the curves of the tight areas but thats normal but this little jar i have here its got some remember the some of the binding material i put in there and then i used acetone to melt it so its like a little paste and now all you do is you just go back in with that paste and you fill in the little cracks in the holes in the crevices and as soon as the acetone evaporates in a minute or two then the uh the whole crack will be f
