How to get sticky notes on a Mac Open Finder from your dock or the top menu bar on your Mac. Click on Applications in the menu on the left hand side. Scroll down and click on Stickies (your applications should be in alphabetical order).
Create Sticky Notes for your PDF document. Open your document in the Acrobat online PDF editor. Click the Add Comment icon and select whether youd like the comment to be visible as text on the document or whether you want it to show up as a comment icon. Make your comment and repeat throughout the document.
The notes you create with Stickies are stored in the Library folder in your Home folder. It is called StickiesDatabase. For instance, if your name is John the path to see the file is (The name of your hard drive and Home folder might be different.)

Click Sticky Notes. You can also click the Windows icon and select Sticky Notes or search for Sticky Notes in the search box on the taskbar to open this app. Enter your desired content in the pop-up note and click X in the top-right corner. The note will be displayed on your desktop.

How to Add Comments to a PDF on Mac Open the PDF document in Highlights. From the menu bar choose File Open. Select the sticky note tool in the toolbar. Click where you want the note in the PDF. The sticky note appears at the selected location and an annotation popover window appears: Type your comment in the popover.
While reading your PDF file online, you can add notes to yourself using the add comments tool. You can add text, sticky notes, underline text, strikethrough text, highlight text, and add markups using the drawing tool.
