Use either rubber cement or spray adhesive (especially designed for paper) to adhere text pages, title banners and other paper materials to the poster backing. DO NOT use white glue (Elmers glue), paste, mucilage, glue sticks, craft glue, airplane cement, or other similar adhesives.
Mod Podge is fine to use with Inkjet printouts and photo paper providing the ink does not run, smudge, or fade too much when it comes into contact with glue or water.
What is the best way of adhering photos? Glue dots, double sided sticky tape or photo corners are best for adhering photos. Glue dots and double sided tape adhere the photo from the back, thereby avoiding that ugly yellow residue left by one-side tape as often seen in old photo albums or scrapbooks.
Well, Mod Podge has the answer! Transferring a photo onto just about any surface such as wood, metal, glass, terra cotta and even fabric is so easy to do using Mod Podge Photo Transfer Medium!
Paper Most items, especially thicker papers and scrapbook papers, are ready to use with Mod Podge as is. If you are working with thinner sheets of scrapbook paper or inkjet printouts, it may help to spray your paper with a clear acrylic sealer before Mod Podging.
USE ON: Photos, paper, wood, metal, foam, glass, plastic, painted walls, and more!
Tacky glue is an extra thick type of glue that is perfect for adhering paper to wood. Its sometimes called PVA glue. This type is the best choice because other watery glues will make the paper bubble up.
Apply a thin coat of Mod Podge to both sides of the paper. Paint the Mod Podge onto the front of the photo first, then let it dry. Flip the photo over, paint the back, then let it dry as well.
Elmers Rubber Cement is a strong adhesive thats acid-free and great for sticking prints to scrapbooks and photo albums. At the same time, its very flexible because if you only apply it to one surface, it can easily be peeled off and reapplied.
You may wonder How is it done? Well, Mod Podge has the answer! Transferring a photo onto just about any surface such as wood, metal, glass, terra cotta and even fabric is so easy to do using Mod Podge Photo Transfer Medium!
