hi today I will be demonstrating a new feature on the doctor Cano platform and that is the ability to assign tasks to documents in a patients chart so for instance I want to send a face sheet to another doctor and that document is actually in the patients documents folder that we see here so if I go to the documents we see here we have the patient information PDF and I want to add a task and we want to assign this task to my staff member thom yorke we can put a description of what we want them to do so to say send to dr. bender I click Save task assigned to thom yorke if we go to the new tasks area for this patient here we see that there is a new task created for thom yorke and thats and the message says sent dr. bender so if I log in as thom yorke over here and I go go ahead and refresh my page you see that now we have and bubble over here that says that I have a new task click click here we say that patient information and go ahead and click that and it says send a doctor bender
