Daryl Baskin from eXp Realty in Tulsa, Oklahoma discusses the possibility of splitting a real estate deed into two separate deeds. One reason for this could be property development, where one large parcel is divided into two. However, splitting the deed may not be the best solution for having multiple owners of a single parcel. Other options include becoming tenants in common or creating an LLC where the owners share ownership of the property through the entity. This allows for management agreements while maintaining ownership percentages. Splitting deeds is not always necessary.
