Sorting them in descending order would look like this: 80, 56, 49, 20, 11 . You always start first with the largest number on the left and end with the smallest one on the right. In this example, 80 is the largest and 11 is the smallest. The numbers in between are also in order from largest to smallest.
To put numbers in order, place them from lowest (first) to highest (last). This is called Ascending Order. Think of ascending a mountain.
How do you Arrange Numbers in Ascending Order? Ascending order is an arrangement from smallest to largest value. For example, {4, 7, 10, 13} are numbers arranged in ascending order. While arranging numbers in ascending order, we write the smallest value first and then we move forward towards the larger values.
Ascending order is the arrangement of numbers from the smallest to the largest. For example, the following numbers are in ascending order: 3, 15, 28, 49. Descending order is an arrangement of numbers from the largest to the smallest. For example, the numbers 45, 32, 26, 12 are arranged in descending order.

The simplest way to start with ordering numbers is to teach how to sequence them in an ascending order. The numbers are getting bigger, and so ascending. It is like going upwards. However, this is not the only way numbers can be put in ascending order.
Least to greatest: Arranging the numbers from least to greatest means writing the numbers in an ordered list ing to their values. The smallest number should be written on the left, with the next smallest number written to its immediate right.
Ascending and descending order are opposite of each other. If we arrange numbers from smallest to largest, it means we arrange them in ascending order. On the other hand, if we arrange numbers from largest to smallest, it means we arrange them in descending order.
