Ill start by creating a new field for this new limit, then will compare the current balance to this new value. To start, lets make a new field. Ensure the Customer Balances database is active, data is selected and that any criteria from the previous exercise has been cleared. Click the Data tab in the IDEA ribbon and in the Fields section, select Append. Enter a new name for the field, such as NEWLIMIT. Accept Virtual Numeric as the field type. Length is not required for a numeric field so skip this step. Its a numeric field so we use two decimal places and in the parameter field, you need to enter the equatio

2. Transition your Issues Using the Issue Navigator, locate the list of Issues youll need to add a Resolution to. Click Tools Bulk Change (N Issues) Select Issues to change and click Next. Select Transition Issues and click Next. Select your newly created transition and click Next.
Use Please Select as default and make the field mandatory - Asterisk in Red.
Select Tools Bulk Change. Select the issues youd like to perform the bulk operation on and then select Next. Select Watch Issues and then select Next. Review your bulk operation, and select Confirm when you are happy with the operation.
