hi there and welcome to another blender 2.8 tutorial before we start as always I have a slightly changed UI and using right-click select and today were looking at importing specifically appending and linking because I realized that not everyone I want to say understands what blender is doing its one of those typical things where any other program would just import and blender doesnt specifically blend files are a bit interesting but they also tell you a lot about the actual program theres two ways of doing this into one eight the first one being file link in the pend or you just drag and drop and you get the same link in the pend options so theres just two locations where I am were going to use the actual UI this time and will click on append the difference here being linking the pending is appending just takes the data and puts it in a new file linking takes the data from somewhere else and puts it in your main file and then in this main file or in the file youre working in ri
