I have information on sales by month for each app. What I want to do is to create a drop-down where the user selects the month and I have a column chart that compares their revenue of the apps with one another. There are different ways of handling this. You can use name manager together with some dynamic formulas like OFFSET or INDEX to get the job done, or my preferred version whenever I can is to add a data preparation table here that basically retrieves the data based on the drop-down. What happens is that the chart that I create is connected to this data preparation table. This data preparation table retrieves the data from the raw data table.
