In this Greener Tech Byte, we analyze six sealing jaw carbon impressions used to troubleshoot flow wrappers or vertical form-fill seal baggers. Carbon impressions help machines get back up and running quickly by uncovering and fixing chronic downtime issues. Making and inspecting impressions can reveal conditions causing seal quality problems. Impressions take less than a minute to make, using carbon paper for rotary sealing heads running cold seal film or heat seal films during initial installation. When jaws are hot, switch to carbon-less paper for fine-tuning setup and adjustments for reciprocating jaws.

Originally issued by King John of England (r. 11991216) as a practical solution to the political crisis he faced in 1215, Magna Carta established for the first time the principle that everybody, including the king, was subject to the law.
The Magna Carta, also know as Magna Carta Libertatum (the Great Charter of Freedoms), was so called because the original version was drafted in Latin.
This is thanks to the so-called golden passage, one of three clauses that remain in force today: No free man is to be arrested, or imprisoned, or disseized, or outlawed, or exiled, or in any other way ruined, nor will we go or send against him, except by the legal judgment of his peers or by the law of the land.
By ensuring that all men were considered equal in the eyes of the law, that all men had the right to swift justice, and that all men were entitled to a fair trial before imprisonment; Magna Carta laid the foundation both for what would later be accepted as the roots of the British legal system.
Magna Carta was issued in June 1215 and was the first document to put into writing the principle that the king and his government was not above the law. It sought to prevent the king from exploiting his power, and placed limits of royal authority by establishing law as a power in itself.
The Magna Carta (Great Charter) is a document guaranteeing English political liberties that was drafted at Runnymede, a meadow by the River Thames, and signed by King John on June 15, 1215, under pressure from his rebellious barons.
The Clauses of Magna Carta Only four of the 63 clauses in Magna Carta are still valid today - 1 (part), 13, 39 and 40.
Great Charter of 1297: statute It is this version which remains in statute today, although with most articles now repealed.
Magna Carta is a cornerstone of the individual liberties that we enjoy, and it presents an ongoing challenge to arbitrary rule. But over time, while not envisaged at the time of its drafting, Magna Carta has for many been seen not only as a foundation of liberty, but also one of democracy.
