To change the line spacing for the whole document: Select the whole document by: From the Home tab, Paragraph group, click on the Dialog Box Launcher icon - small icon bottom right hand corner of the group. The Paragraph dialog box is displayed, check that the Indenting and Spacing tag has been selected.
Select the line that you want to change. If you want to change multiple lines, select the first line, and then press and hold CTRL while you select the other lines. Under Drawing Tools, on the Format tab, in the Shape Styles group, click the Quick Style that you want.
To indent the first line of a paragraph, put your cursor at the beginning of the paragraph and press the tab key. When you press Enter to start the next paragraph, its first line will be indented.
