This video tutorial demonstrates how to disable PDF printing by making the document secure. First, locate and right-click on the PDF file in Windows Explorer. Select "make secure PDF" and go to the printing and viewing tab in the PDF writer. Ensure that the allowed printing checkbox is deselected before clicking "publish" to confirm the protection status. The protected PDF will now have a .pdc extension and can only be opened with LockLizard Secure PDF Viewer. Printing is disabled in the safeguard secure viewer, preventing any printing actions using keyboard shortcuts or buttons.

How do I turn off copy function in PDF?

In docHub, you can disable copy paste by applying password protection and PDF restrictions to a PDF file. To do this, in the permissions settings check the box Restrict Editing and un-check Enabling copying text. Then save the PDF file.

Why is my digital signature grayed out?

Note: If the Digitally Sign option is greyed out, it means that the document does not support digital signatures. To enable digital signatures, complete the form and print the document to CutePDF.

How do I stop my digital signature from being copied?

Add a Watermark over the signature which makes it harder to copy.

Can someone copy my signature from PDF?

You can choose your desired color to fill the PDF form. Click the color button in the Fill Sign menu and choose your desired color. By default, the signature color is black. To retain the default color of the signature, make sure the Retain Original Color for Signature option is unchecked.
