hi there im anthony with bide two-way radios comm and this is radio 101 attaching a belt clip to an RDX series radio is a very easy thing to do removing the belt clip well thats something else entirely it can be very frustrating experience unless you know the secret and even if you do is still a real pain there is a secret of course you need three things a flathead screwdriver some simple instructions and a lot of patience to remove the belt clip properly insert the screwdriver between the belt clip and the battery pull back the metal release tab on the belt clip tab and push the spring action belt clip upward to separate it from the battery it may take a bit of doing but you should be able to get it off eventually preferably when you pry it from a cold dead battery one thing for sure if you want a radio with a belt clip that hooks on to it and wont let go get an RDX series radio from Motorola just keep your screwdriver handy of course if youve been prying away for an hour or two
