How to convert PDF files into Excel spreadsheets: Open a PDF file in Acrobat. Click on the Export PDF tool in the right pane. Choose spreadsheet as your export format, and then select Microsoft Excel Workbook.

Set all automatic formatting options at once Click File Options. In the Excel Options box, click Proofing AutoCorrect Options. On the AutoFormat As You Type tab, check the boxes for the auto formatting you want to use.
