1920x1080 FHD (Full HD) / 1080p. 2560x1440 QHD/WQHD (Quad HD) / 1440p.
1 Adjust the Scale and Display Resolution Open the Start menu and select Settings. Go to System. In Display, check the Scale and Resolution options, and adjust them to make your screen look proper. If you make a change, youll be asked to make sure you can still see what is on the screen.
For television and consumer media, 1920 1080 is the most common 2K resolution, but this is normally referred to as 1080p.
Click Display in the left navigational menu. In the General tab, go to the Resolution section. Open Windows Display Settings. Right-click on the Desktop and select Display Settings. Select the display you want to change. Under Display resolution, select the desired resolution.
A 1080p resolution means the image has 1920 pixels horizontally by 1080 vertically (1920x1080). You can find the total pixels in the image by multiplying those two numbers (the height and width) together, meaning a 1080p image has more than 2 million pixels.
First, right-click the Windows desktop and choose Display Settings. Set Display Resolution to 3,840 by 2,160 (it should say Recommended in parentheses next to it). This will ensure your PC is outputting a 4K signal. Now, launch a game and enter its display settings.
1920x1080 - Full HD 1080p 1920x1080 is one of the most popular monitor resolutions that people use. This is due to the fact that you are able to have great, clear image quality at this resolution and it doesnt require a top tier computer to power.
Full HD is just another term for 1080p or 1920x1080, and those are all ways of referring to the same resolution. By contrast, 4K has a resolution of 3840x2160. Thats a lot more pixels in the overall image totaling over 8 million pixels. As always, the higher the resolution, the sharper the picture will be.
