hey guys whats going on la here and in this video Im gonna show you guys how to adjust the screen resolution using the command line so I just got through firing up a instance of Vaughn su virtual instance of Ubuntu and notice that the screen resolution does it fit one of my monitors here the monitor resolution is 1920 by 1080 and that option isnt here and so one of the first things that youll want to do before we start all this is that if youre running a virtual instance youll want to fire in the VM tools or VirtualBox tools that way if you do try to adjust the size and dimensions the resolution of your screen itll itll have those settings there but if you did or youre not trying to put it into virtual tools and you see that your screen resolution isnt fitting theres a couple of things you can do you can check your display settings and you can do that by going over to the little gear clicking system settings going to this place and checking the resolution now for the monito
