Select the Formulas tab Select the Text drop-down list in the Function Library group. Select LOWER for lowercase and UPPER for uppercase. Next to the Text field, click the spreadsheet icon. Click the first cell in the row or column that you would like to change the text case.
To use the Excel uppercase shortcut, select the cells that you want to convert to uppercase letters. Then, press the Ctrl + Shift + U keys on your keyboard. This shortcut will instantly convert the text in the selected cells to uppercase letters.
Enter Edit mode Double-click the cell that contains the data that you want to edit. Click the cell that contains the data that you want to edit, and then click anywhere in the formula bar. Click the cell that contains the data that you want to edit, and then press F2.
Go to the Sheet Options group of the Page Layout tab. Remove the check mark in the box next to Print in the Headings column. The column headings will no longer be printed.

Change the case of text in Excel To change column A to Title Case, select cell B2. Type =PROPER(A2), and press Enter. Tip: Use the formula =UPPER(A1) for all UPPERCASE; =LOWER(A1) for all lowercase. Now fill down the formula through cell B10.
To change the column headings to letters, select the File tab in the toolbar at the top of the screen and then click on Options at the bottom of the menu. When the Excel Options window appears, click on the Formulas option on the left. Then uncheck the option called R1C1 reference style and click on the OK button.
Option 1: Click the triangle in the top left corner to select the entire table. Click the Home tab the Rows and Columns drop-down button AutoFit Row Height and AutoFit Column Width. The row height and column width can be adjusted ing to the characters and numbers in cells.
How to alphabetize in Excel Select any cell in the column you want to sort. On the Data tab, in the Sort and Filter group, click either A-Z to sort ascending or Z-A to sort descending. Done!
Solution: Clear the R1C1 reference style selection in Excel preferences. On the Excel menu, click Preferences. Clear the Use R1C1 reference style check box. The column headings now show A, B, and C, instead of 1, 2, 3, and so on.
