when we first headed texting like burn the feedback that we got predominantly from people that was that they wanted to be able to attach text to a path and that was how it was worded people always said I want to be able to attach my text to an object so that I can make the path follow that object now this is incredibly flexible it allows you to do things like this so you can bend text in strange ways the feedback that weve gotten since is that most people dont want to bend their text on an arbitrary path but instead want to just wrap their text around a circle and quite a few people found the attaching text to a path and node editing the path or attaching it to a circle to be cumbersome so as an example if I create a circle you make it not filled so that you can see it so if I take this text and that circle and I say apply the path to text now the circle starts here and the text is centered so the text wraps this way and you would have to rotate the circle and so on so theres there
