hi and welcome students in this Microsoft Word 2016 tutorial Im going to show you how to resize pictures lets get started so youll see that I have a word document here and I have a picture right here to select a picture all you need to do is click inside of it and youll notice that sizing handles appear on all of the corners and sides now you can resize a picture this way but Im going to show you a couple more options in our picture tools format tab the only way youll see the picture tools format tab is if you select the picture so I have the picture selected and so Im going to go to the picture tools format tab and theres a group dedicated to size on the right side this is where we can adjust the height and width one thing that I want you to notice is that as I increase the height here the width also increases this is whats called your pictures aspect ratio by default in Microsoft Office its locked meaning as I increase the height the width will also increase thats that we
