Next, you need to set the left and right margins for the header and footer. To do this, go to File Page Setup. In the Margins tab, enter the desired margin values in the Left and Right text boxes.
Click the Center radio button. Make sure the Align Relative To drop-down list is set to Margin. Click OK to close the Alignment tab dialog box. Type the information you want centered in the header or footer.
Go to the Home tab and click on the small launcher arrow in the lower right-hand corner of the font section to go to the Font dialog box. Select +Body and the size text you want, then click Set as Default in the lower left-hand corner.
Double-click on the header and hit the down arrow. If there are extra lines in the header, below the page number, delete them.
