Before you can start riding your new SQlab saddle, you have to make sure its mounted correctly. Today Im going to show you everything you need to know about mounting and adjusting your saddle. Because of the step design, the seating surface is slightly higher, compared to regular saddles. For the sporty ERGOWAVE models, you should adjust the height about 0.5cm, for the Trekking and City models up to 3cm. When you mount the saddle for the first time, the saddle nose should be positioned horizontally. When you experience pain underneath the pubic arch, tilt the nose slightly downwards. When you feel like sliding off the saddle, tilt the nose slightly upwards. We recommend to mount the saddle slightly forward in the seatpost clamp. On the M-D line your sitbones should be positioned on the rear, wide area, on the ERGOWAVE and ERGOLUX models on the middle step. To achieve this, we recommend a seatpost without offset.
