To edit the data selection of a chart, right click the chart and select the Select Data option - or select the chart, go to the Design tab, and click the Select Data button from the left side of the ribbon menu.
On your Android phone or tablet, open a spreadsheet in the Google Sheets app. Double-tap the chart you want to edit. Tap Edit chart. Choose from: Type: Change the chart type. Legend: Change the legend location. Titles: Change the chart and axis titles. When youre done, tap Done .
Select the Scale tab on the Format Axis window. Click the Logarithmic Scale check box near the bottom of the window. This changes the charts axis to a log scale.
In your XY (scatter) graph, double-click the scale of each axis. In the Format Axis box, select the Scale tab, and then check Logarithmic scale.
You can convert the log values to normal values by raising 10 to the power the log values (you want to convert). For instance if you have 0.30103 as the log value and want to get the normal value, you will have: 10^0.30103 and the result will be the normal value.
Right-click your chart, and then choose Select Data. In the Legend Entries (Series) box, click the series you want to change. Click Edit, make your changes, and click OK. Changes you make may break links to the source data on the worksheet.
A logarithmic price scale, also referred to as a log scale, is a type of scale used on a chart that is plotted such that two equivalent price changes are represented by the same vertical distance on the scale.
The logarithm of 10 is 1.0, and the logarithm of 100 is 2.0, so the logarithm of the midpoint is 1.5. What value has a logarithm of 1.5? The answer is 101.5, which is 31.62. So the value half way between 10 and 100 on a logarithmic axis is 31.62.
Select the Build tab, and then select See all. In the left navigation pane, select Tables, next to the table you want, select , and then select Edit data in Excel.
To edit the data, right-click the chart and click Edit Data to reopen the spreadsheet. Changes in the spreadsheet show up automatically in the chart. Or, under Design, click Data Edit Data.
