use dot leaders to connect text on the page. To do this, create a tab stop using the tabs dialog box. Select the text lines you want to apply the dot leader to and open the paragraph dialog box. Click on the tabs button and set the tab position, alignment, and choose the dot leader option. Apply the changes and the new tab stop will appear in the menu.
