3-Use Microsoft Word to add Watermark to PDF Open your PDF file from your windows with Microsoft word. Enables it to edit any PDF first as it is word software. Add a watermark from the design menu. Save the file as a PDF.
Select Settings. In the Print To section, unselect the Printer box and select File (PDF). In File (PDF) Settings, unselect Watermark (the option may be grayed out). Select OK and print your return.

On the Design tab, select Watermark. In the Insert Watermark dialog, select Text and either type your own watermark text or select one, like DRAFT, from the list. Then, customize the watermark by setting the font, layout, size, colors, and orientation. Select OK.
Click on the Headers and footers dropdown menu and select Custom. In the Custom section, click on the Add stamp button. A stamp editor will appear, allowing you to customize your stamp. Choose the desired stamp image from the available options or upload your own image.
Select Print from the menu. In the print settings, choose Save as PDF from the Destination drop-down menu. Click More settings and scroll down to the Options section. Enter a strong and unique password in the Document open password box something only you would know.
