[Music] hey everybody derek here from addictive tips in this video im going to show you how to scan qr codes on the linux desktop so first you should the app cobang now that is in the description of the article the instructions once youve got it installed you can open it up like so now there are two ways you can use cobang you can connect it to your camera and you can show a qr code to it or you can scan a file were going to be scanning a file because i dont want to connect my webcam so im going to make my own qr code really quick just going to link to google.com then im going to save the file to see my downloads folder put it on the desktop here so the qr code is on the desktop now i can click the button down here go to the desktop load up the qr as you can see it shows me that it goes to google.com i can click on the link or i can copy the result and i can open up a new browser tab as you can see and itll and it will go not to its intended place here we go itll go here so th
