Lets say for instance, you have to sign a document. Well, today you could print out that document, then you could sign it, then you could scan it in again, and then you could send it off. But thats a lot of work. It wastes paper and you need to have a printer. I dont even have a printer. Today Im going to show you how you could create an electronic signature, two different ways. One of them is using your phone where you sign your signature on the phone, and then well bring that onto our PC, so itll be digital all the way. The second technique, were going to sign our name, take a high quality photo of it, and then well bring that into the PC. So, Ill show you those two different ways. The ODF does not need to be signed already, as you can add the OpenOffice signature along the way: Go to File Export As and click Export as PDF. Switch to the Digital Signatures tab. Under Certificate, click Select. In the Select Certificate dialog box, choose the certificate to be used and click Sign.
How to add a digital signature to a PDF document with docHub Open your document in docHub. Click the Tools tab and scroll down to the Forms and Certificates section. Click on Digitally Sign from the new options bar. Select the digital signature you want to use and click Continue.
To insert your signature block, click the Insert tab, click Quick Parts, click AutoText, and then click your signature block.
Follow the steps below to add a signature: Open your document in docHub. Click the Tools tab and scroll down to the Forms and Certificates section. Click on Digitally Sign from the new options bar. Select the digital signature you want to use and click Continue.
To add your signature, click on the Sign Document button. The Select certificate dialog box will now be displayed. Choose the certificate that contains your name, followed by the comment (Signature), and click Sign. Next, enter your PIN code when prompted to actually sign the document.
