For this lesson you need to open the World Sales-4 sample file from your Sample Files folder. In this lesson well explore using subtle Shadows and 3-D Formats, to add a professional sheen to your work. Ill begin by selecting the chart by clicking just inside the border. And now Im going to select the Chart Title Element. To do this Ill click Charts Tools, Format on the Ribbon, and on the left you can see theres a Current Selection group. At the top of the Current Selection group, theres a Chart Elements dropdown. If I click the dropdown, you can see all of the chart elements that currently exist on this chart. Im going to click the Chart Titles Element and, when I click, the Chart Title Element is selected. Up to now, youve selected elements simply by clicking on them. So why would you want to use the Chart Elements dropdown? Well, directly clicking on an element is usually faster, but there are some chart elements (such as Gridlines) that can sometimes be
