Whats up guys, in this tutorial, I will show you how to password protect folders on Mac OS Ventura. This should be quite an easy tutorial, for more information, click on the first link in the description below. First, make sure to locate the file or folder you wish to password protect, in this case a folder on my desktop. Next, open up your Disk Utility application. Simply search for disk utility in your spotlight search to open it up. Here, navigate to File New Image Image from Folder This will allow you to choose the folder or file in your Finder. Click on Choose. Next, enter the name of the protected folder, where to save it, and most importantly, set the Encryption option to 128-bit AES encryption or 256-bit AES encryption. For most users, the first encryption option should suffice. You will be prompted to enter a password for your new file.
