Two methods on how to get into developer mode: 1. Go to launcher, settings, apps, Google Play Store, manage Android preferences, scroll to bottom, double click on "About Device," press on "Build number" until it says you are a developer. 2. Turn off your device, then turn back on while holding Power and Volume Down buttons. Scroll to "Reboot bootloader," press Power to select. Once in bootloader, press Volume Down to highlight "Recovery mode," press Power to select. Scroll to "Wipe data/factory reset," press Power to confirm. Scroll to "Reboot system now," press Power to reboot device.
