In this Google Sheets tutorial by Sumit Bansal, he shows how to insert an image within a cell using two methods. The first method is through the Insert tab where you can upload an image, take a snapshot, or specify a URL. However, when inserting an image this way, it remains a separate object floating over the worksheet. Even if resized to fit within a cell, it still functions as an independent object.
