PDFs are great for keeping documents properly formatted and preventing easy editing, making them perfect for documents that need to be signed. If you are on Mac OS, you can use the built-in Preview app to add your signature to a PDF. First, find and open the PDF you need to sign. Click on the show marker toolbar icon and select the signature icon. Create and save your signature using your laptop's trackpad, built-in webcam, or an iPhone or iPad. Sign your name on your trackpad, or use a thicker stroke if you have a Force Touch trackpad. Tap any key and click done to create a signature using your webcam.
