As it turns out, the fix is simple, but a little silly: After youve filled out a PDF form in Preview, choose Print from the File menu and then use the dialog boxs PDF option to save it to a PDF.
How to save a filled-out PDF form on Mac. Navigate to the left-hand side of your screen and select File from the top menu. Scroll down to Print.
