Drop-down menus are collapsible list boxes, commonly employed in interactive PDFs. This is doable with docHub Pro, but with a paid subscription. Luckily, you can also insert dropdowns to PDF online for free, and even make fillable PDF forms with Acrobat.
Create a drop-down list In a new worksheet, type the entries you want to appear in your drop-down list. Select the cell in the worksheet where you want the drop-down list. Go to the Data tab on the Ribbon, and then Data Validation. On the Settings tab, in the Allow box, select List.
Set Up Dropdown Using Data Validation Navigate to the Data menu and select Data Validation. Here, click Add rule. In the Criteria section, select Dropdown (from a range) and indicate the range with your desired items.
Go to the Data tab on the Ribbon, then select Data Validation. On the Settings tab, in the Allow box, select List. If its OK for people to leave the cell empty, check the Ignore blank box. Check the In-cell dropdown box.
In Google Sheets, open a spreadsheet. Select the cell or cells where you want to create a dropdown list. Select an option: Enter @. In the Menu, under the components section, click Dropdowns.
Step 1: Open the Word document where you want to add the drop-down list. Step 2: Click the Developer tab. If you dont see this tab, go to File Options Customize Ribbon and check the Developer box. Step 3: In the Controls group, click the Drop-Down List Content Control button.
This can be done in the same worksheet as the dropdown list or in a different sheet. Select the cell(s) that are to contain the list. On the ribbon, click the Data tab Data Validation. In the Data Validation dialog window, select List from the Allow drop-down menu.
Create a drop-down list Select the cells that you want to contain the lists. On the ribbon, select DATA Data Validation. In the dialog box, set Allow to List. Click in Source, type the text or numbers (separated by commas, for a comma-delimited list) that you want in your drop-down list, and select OK.
