PDFs are great for maintaining document formatting and preventing editing, making them ideal for signed documents. Mac users can use the built-in Preview app to add a signature to a PDF. Open the PDF in Preview, click the Show Markup Toolbar icon, and select the Signature icon. Create and save your signature using the trackpad, webcam, iPhone, or iPad. Sign your name on the trackpad, press harder for a thicker stroke with a Force Touch trackpad. Tap any key and click done to save your signature using the webcam.
