Google Chrome Step 1: Open your PDF file in your Drive in Chrome browser; Step 2: Select specific text and tap the pop-up plus icon to add a comment. Alternatively, you can right-click on the selected text and choose Add a comment to add a sticky note to the PDF.
Use your Chromebook to type on any PDF. Select the Edit PDF tool. Upload your document by selecting the blue button labeled Select a file. Depending on your browser, you may also be able to simply drag and drop your file to the editor. Once the file has uploaded, use the Add Text Comment tool to type in your text.
You can use the Gallery app on your Chromebook to view PDFs and edit them.
From any web browser, sign in to Acrobat to annotate in the PDF. Then, simply choose tools from the toolbar to highlight, strike through, or add text. You can leave comments that explain a specific change in detail or add a sticky note where less detail is needed.
Type or paste chrome://settings/content into address bar. A pop-up labeled Content Settings will open. Scroll down to the bottom to PDF Documents Select or deselect the check box labelled Open PDF files in the default PDF viewer application

Click the Add Comment icon and select whether youd like the comment to be visible as text on the document or whether you want it to show up as a comment icon.
