hey everyone welcome to being classy in this video i want to show you how to cross out or strike through a text in google docs so here we have our text and lets say we would like to make a line through this word or we would like to make a line through a list that weve created what you can do is go ahead and highlight your text that you would like to strike through youll notice up here you do not see a strikethrough button so what you need to do is navigate to the format button on the top left corner click on format hover over text which is your first option and go over to the right and click on strikethrough you also notice depending on what operating system youre using im on a macbook so i also have a shortcut i could use which would be command shift x on a pc it would be a different shortcut so i can go ahead and click that and there you have it strike through a text on google docs i hope this video was helpful for you if it was go ahead and like the video share it with anyone e
