To paste an image into a PDF file on Mac, you can use Preview or a PDF editor software that allows you to add images. Open the PDF file with Preview or an PDF editor, select the location where you want to insert the image, press Ctrl+V to paste the image into the PDF document.
Open the file in Preview by default, or control-click the file and choose Preview. Click Show Markup Toolbar. Click the Draw icon.
Open a PDF file and select the Annotate tab. Click the Shapes tool. Select shape, set opacity and customize its color on the sidebar on the right. Click where youd like to add the shape.
