To always show the downloads button in Mozilla Firefox toolbar, you can use two methods. The first way is to right-click on the title bar or toolbar, select customize toolbar, then uncheck the hide button when empty option for the downloads button. The second way is to type about:config in the address bar, search for browser.download.autohideButton, change the preference value to false, and the downloads button will always be visible on the toolbar.
