Open a PDF file containing a scanned image in Acrobat for Mac or PC. Click on the Edit PDF tool in the right pane. Acrobat automatically applies optical character recognition (OCR) to your document and converts it to a fully editable copy of your PDF. Click the text element you wish to edit and start typing.
You can add or insert new text into a PDF using any of the fonts installed on the system. Select Tools Edit PDF Add Text . Open a PDF and then choose Tools Edit PDF Add text.
In File Explorer, right-click the PDFs name and choose Open with Word. Edit the text, then select File Save As PDF Save.
Text can be added to a PDF using the free version of docHub Reader or using docHub Document Cloud (DC). You can download docHub Reader for free from the UNC-Chapel Hill Software Distribution page.
