from time to time we may want to add a caption or note to a photo because not everything we want to remember about that photo was captured in the image in order to do so well first need to select the photo if i click on the photo one time with a simple left click thats going to select the photo i can then click on the word caption which is found underneath the home tab in the middle of the home tab once i click on caption its going to open this pane here on the right hand side i can then go ahead and type in a small note or caption about that photo i can then press the enter key on my keyboard in order to set that caption although its called a caption these notes actually dont appear on top of the photos in windows live photo gallery the reason its called a caption is if you use windows live photo gallery to upload your photos to either facebook or skydrive those captions will appear below the photos on the internet additionally you can use windows live photo gallery to import y
