You cannot edit Bates page numbering after youve added it to a document. You can, however, delete Bates numbering and apply a different Bates numbering formula.
Insert line numbers Choose Format Document Line Numbers. In the Line Number Properties dialog, select Show line numbers and specify the following: Width: Distance of line numbers from the column. The distance is relative to the columns that contain text. Font: Font of the line numbers.
Select Edit Insert Bates Numbering Remove to permanently remove Bates numbers from currently open files. Other header and/or footer elements, if any, are retained. An information box instructs you how to interpret the results of the operation.
How to add Bates Numbering to a PDF in docHub. Open the file. Click Tools. Select Edit PDF. Choose More. Click Bates Numbering and Add. Select Output Options to customize the serial numbers. Click OK.
How can I insert page numbers into PDFs? Use the file selection box at the top of the page to select the PDF files to which you want to add page numbers. In the Edit PDF toolbar, click More Bates Numbering Add. In the Bates Numbering dialog box, click Output Options. Select the radio button for Add to original file names and enter %BATESNUMBERKEY% in the Insert Before or Insert After fields as desired. Click on the OK button.
Adding Page Numbers to PDFs Open your PDF and click on the Edit PDF icon. from the tool list on the left. In the secondary toolbar at the top, click Header Footer then click on Add. In the dialog box that appears, select your desired settings for the position, style, and appearance of the page numbers. Click OK.
